Self Catering Rooms

We have expanded our accommodation at Mooiplaas by adding 4 self-catering suites. We did this by completely converting a neighbouring farmhouse into 4 luxury modern rooms each with their own self-catering facilities.

Secluded Little Piece of Heaven

This is a secluded gem. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven on earth, you might just find it here! Time does stand still here, and you feel as if the entire range of the Swartberg mountains are there just for you! It’s a great escape!

A House made just for you!

The house has a large and comfortable lounge with a wood burning fireplace and dining room. There is also a fully equipped farmhouse kitchen which can be made available to groups by prior arrangement.

The house is located in the most idyllic and secluded setting. It overlooks its own private swimming pool which is set in the front garden. Beyond the pool lie the farmlands and an uninterrupted panoramic view of the purple Swartberg Mountain range.

Each self catering room has its own private patio with table and chairs. Braai facilities are available.

The rooms each have a brand new bathroom with shower, bath, and double basin; and are supplied with our luxury toiletries and plush towels.

The self-catering facilities include a fridge, microwave, sink, kettle, and double hot plate. Cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery for 2 people are all provided. We also provide complimentary tea making groceries (tea, coffee, sugar, milk).

Ideal for Groups

It’s also perfect for groups of people looking to do their own thing with self catering facilities. No one will bother you here. There are no neighbours – other than a few ostriches! The house and all the facilities are exclusively yours.

Main Guest House Facilities

The main guest house is situated just over the road. Close enough in case you need us, but far enough, so you can enjoy your privacy and the peace of the countryside.

You are welcome to join us for breakfast which is served at the main guest house.
